Hi Sarah! What a cool giveaway! What I love best about summer is the family time we get to share. The rides to the country, going to the park and feeding the ducks, taking our puppy to a field and watching him enjoy the free open space. Yep, being with family is why I love summertime so very much. :)

Sarah - Your artwork is always wonderful and whimsical and your photography outstanding. What a lovely giveaway!
What do I love about summer...
I love my tomato plants - how they smell and the wonderful gifts they give me. I love going out on Tokaryk Lake in my bright yellow kayak and having the loons dive down deep in the water in front of me and how they come up behind me, laughing while they do this. I love how the robins and their chicks serenade us awake at 4am just before the sun peeks over the trees.
What is not to love about summer?

Ooooo me, me, me!!

I love Summer because I get to spend more time outside, I hate cabin fever!! I love that the daylight hours are longer which means even more time for fun in the sun. I love watching my grand kids ride their bikes, play in the sprinklers, pools, digging in the dirt and watching their face light up when they discover we're cooking on the "griller", lol.

I'm already a follower here and on Let Fly, whooo hoooo!!

I'll post a link on my blog right now!!

Ooooo I hope I'm a lucky winner!!

Have a great evening Sarah!!

Mmmm, how to pick one thing that I love about a single season?!? If I have to pick just one thing that I love about summer, it would be the sun. I love to just sit and absorb the energy it sends down. Makes me feel truly alive.
Good luck to all!
Can't wait for the sun to poke through the dreary clouds that have been hanging around here for weeks...

What do I love about Summer? Hmmm, lazy days, drifting around sipping cold lemonade. Taking my watch off and using my body clock. Not rushing anything. BBQ's at the field and sipping cold beer while laying beside my tent under the stars. Heaven :)

I love summer, and I am so sad that it is winter here in Australia!
I know lots of my friends think I'm crazy, but I love the fact that my kids have a long break from school over summer. It's so nice not to have to worry about lunches and getting people to school on time, LOL.
I also LOVE summer fruit. Mangoes, berries, pineapples, stone fruit...I could eat these all year round.

everything is so alive and vibrant with fragrances.....like the Solomonseal blooming in the forest behind the house....the baby squirrels coming out of their nest in my garage roof.....the way you can see people moving all over town after everyone so covered and hidden in winter. Summer means 'alive'n'color'!!

Summer ... I love the inclination to let things unfold naturally, being less ambitious and more in the moment. I love the time spent out of doors and of course the vacations we take during the summer. Always love getting away, changing the routine and discovering what is really essential: family and love.

ooo ... I love that dragon!

In New England, summer means the chance we'll see sun on occasion and some days it'll even be warm to the point of too hot to move. I can't wait!

What a lovely contest! I don't know if it's 9AM where you are yet, but I'll post anyway since it's not 9AM here!

My favorite thing about summer is the greenery and the abundance of life. Trees dressed in leaves, the scent of flowers and cut grass, birds and butterflies... Such a nice change from the deadness of a Montana winter.
