My Half of The Tribute to Our Mom & Thank You's!

As I promised, I am offering up a few pictures of our Mom...Ruth. My sister Anne did an amazing tribute to her... still teary.. and it couldn't have been done better so... I thought I would just add a few pictures so you could have a face to go with the idea of her. The first is her wedding picture, I love this one..

Here is me 22 years ago (first marraige) in that lovely dress!

Mom in 1976 on our farm in Tennessee. I do believe she loved it there.

Here she is with my Dad on the left at my wedding in 1986.

I also wanted to say a very deep felt thank you to each and every one of you for your encouragement, support, wishcasts, prayers, candles & love yesterday. You can't know how very much it meant to me!! I do truly feel so very much better today!
Namaste, blessings, love and Happy Mother's Day, Sarah

Happy Mother's Day dear one!!! You post yesterday is ringing in my heart with a similiar recent circumstance...but i am having to put my place up for sale (after moving in 7 mo. ago) as my job of the past 20 yrs. is officially over. I'm a single mom, and have alot to keep together for alot , and hold you in sympathetic prayers too. "all things work together for good to them that love God" (romans 8:28)
we've got to hold on in faith....it will all work out!!!
blessings,
abigail

Sarah,
I have been having a few issues of my own this week and, sadly, neglected a new friend. (you) My wishing for you may be a day late, but it is every bit as strong. Hang in there. Remember the song "You can't always get what you wanted, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need". (I bet the Stones did not know how wise they were when they wrote that one.)
In the mean time, love your drawings and your post about your Mom.

Aw, you and your mom look so beautiful in that dress. How wonderful that you were able to wear your mothers dress!

I'm sorry that I missed your wishcast on Saturday, I just read it. I'm glad you are feeling better. All will be well. You have so many gifts and talents, Sarah. Just keep thinking about what you DO want, and not what you DON'T.
Hugs and blessings!

Oh, I don't think I have ever seen a couple of those pictures of Mom. And Dad, too. She looked frail then in that pink dress - just a year before she passed away. Thanks for those, Sarah. It was good to see them again. I'm at work trying to gulp back a lump in my throat! Beautiful picture of you in that wedding dress BTW. Georgeous!
