I finally managed to get back on track and do a couple of little ACEO's. Here are a couple of little mermaids. I do love doing anything ocean.
For those of you who have never heard of an ACEO it means.. Art Card, Editions & Originals. I was clueless the first time I saw the term. They are baseball sized miniature pieces of art, 3 1/2" x 2 1/2. They originated on Ebay as simply trading cards and then grew to cards for sale. They have since jumped outside of Ebay and most sites like Etsy.com and even a few galleries & art shows are offering them these days.
As an artist I love doing them, quick, easy and well honestly fun!! As a buyer...I confess..I have a collection..it is a wonderful way to purchase very good artwork for a little price. Many artists offer their amazingly talented, original works for a little price. Lots of artists offer prints at good prices also.

Your mermaids are lovely!!! I've always wondered what ACEOs were but assumed they were trading cards. I've been making a few but haven't been very happy with the results as of yet. We'll have to trade when I can start making ones I like!
