Wishcast Wednesday

Jamie has asked us this morning...What do you wish to have trust in? As always one of those strip you clean questions. I struggle with trust on so many levels. I have been in so many situations in my life that have invited judgement by others. Unwed mother, marrying a younger guy, my divorce etc. etc. Some have been self created, some imposed by others, some just life itself. I have to push myself some days to keep it real and not just go hide.

There were times when I was to immature to take constructive criticism and other times I have been cruelly attacked. Learning to know the difference took some maturity. Weeding out the helpful from the hurtful is still a challenge at times. So, I want to share of myself, warts, stupid choices and all and trust that what is returned is what I am suppose to hear. Sometimes that is straight talk, sometimes comfort, sometimes laughter, sometimes understanding. So I want to trust myself to be true to the lessons I have been given & trust myself to let it fly and trust the universe to use it the way it is meant to be used.

I struggle with trust also ... I've been disappointed far too many times. It may be because I take life too seriously and/or am too sensitive.

I do think as we age, we are more open to letting go and and letting it fly and trusting the universe to use it the way it was meant to be used. It is a struggle thou.

Sarah what a fantastic post.

The truth, your truth is a wonderful thing.

Trust yourself, you are worth trusting in. I totally trust you.

As Sarah wishes for herself, so I also wish for her. May you trust in your self and the wisdom you have already won and will acquire.

Sarah, I love the raw honesty you have shown here! That is so awesome! Trust is tricky for so many people. I had to re-read Jamie's question a few times. I am not sure that I am clear on it yet but..I have had no choice but to trust a team of unknown professionals with saving my life. I did so without thinking. And I would do so again.
For me, I guess that I wish I had trust in my instincts. Sometimes I choose to ignore the nagging voice in my head. I would like to give myself permission to acknowledge and act on the wisdom of intuition.

Trusting yourself is about the most powerful thing we can do. What a great wish, Sarah. I love the way you put it, too - "let it fly..."
Blessings!

Sarah, I trust God to direct all that I do. It is scary sometimes when you just have to step out in faith that all will be well in the end - whatever well is supposed to look like. But it's a very powerful tool. Love your pic of the kitty paw.

I think trust is one of the hardest concepts. Your answer is quite true...trust in yourself above all and everything will fall into place. Love the kitty paw!

It's been one of those days (dealing with people you'd like to send to the moon). You're right-if you trust yourself and your instincts it helps to get through the tough times. Good for you!
