Wishcast Wednesday

Our Jamie has asked us this morning. What do you wish to give yourself permission for? Ok well there is a huge loaded question!I am in the last week of my "Unravelling" class with Susannah Conway. A wonderful gift from Karen D..I was a lucky winner of her giveaway! I was just posting this morning there..that one of the things I have learned was this....

I do not let myself play and have fun like I should. I am way over serious theses days and have not been Letting Fly like I should!! I also discovered that I have not been taking care of me as well as I should physically, emotionally or spiritually.
So here is what I need to give myself permission to do...

1. I am writing this here..I am telling you all today...I will be 50 this Fall and I am going to loose 35 pounds between now and then. I am going to get back into shape, get moving. I am going to have fun doing it!! I had a body like that one once...I want it back! I want to give myslef permission to look smoking hot again even at 50! I am going to get my annual exams and get my teeth and eyes taken care of.

2. I am going to review my boundaries with the people around me..my tribe. I am going to make sure that my boundaries are cared for and kept. I want to make sure that I am not being treated in any other way that what I deserve.

3. I need to give myself permission to take the time to journal, meditate, pray, do Reiki on myself and take time daily to find my balance with the Universe. To do things daily to remind me of my place in the world and what I have to offer up.

4. I guess the very last thing I would like to give myself permission to do is to try new things..really Let Fly with new ideas. I truly believe that we are given these ideas so we can turn them into something wonderful. Only fear keeps us from acting on them. I want to give myself permission to act even through fear and Let Fly with new directions in my life!!

So there is is...the things I need to Let Fly with for me! What do you wish to give yourself permission to do today?? Hugs and Namaste, Sarah

Sounds like you need a personal bucket list! You could put all those things on your list and more. If I could try snowboarding at 59 - you can do ANYTHING! Go for it! I want to hear more about this "unravelling class" sis. Sounds like you are getting a lot out of it.

Ah Sarah, your wishes could have been mine, I can really relate to them all. I am so happy unravelling has been so good to you, it is still changing me as I speak.
I hope your heart is a little less heavy today with all that is going on for you.
I am so glad to know you my friend.
Namaste,
Karen
PS: I practice Reiki also and have been just getting back to me self - treatments.

As Sarah wishes for herself, I wish for her also. When I turned 50 I had many of the same wishes and dreams. Many of them did come true. I know yours will too.

Hi Sarah,
I know you have more than survived in the past and you are a strong woman. If you say you want to lose 35 pounds by your birthday I know you can do it and you can do it in a healthy way because you will take care of yourself.

I am visualizing all of this for you. I can already see it. You're already pointing in that direction so just keep doing the footwork, hon. One step at a time. xoxo B (ps. --visualize joining that gym.:p))

~smokin hot at 50...you rock no matter what you carry! but i can agree for the sake of health and a boost of confidence shedding a bit is always a good thing...i wish you dedication...focus and for the weight to just melt away! you have set some lovely wishes that i hope you will put forth in your life and bring them to be...we all need a refresher course in boundries with the ones we love...sometimes they can fall below what should be...and as for you...one of the bestest things about you is how inspiring you are to LET FLY...i greatly wish for you to bring it back and fly high...as Sarah wishes for herself so I wish for her too...brightest blessings~

Hi Sarah! I love your new promises to yourself. You LET FLY, girl! I'm with you on the weight, but only because I know it is so much healthier. I need to take care of myself, so I can be here for my kids, and so I can play and play. :)) xoxo Pam

I can relate to the need to cut loose and have fun more often. I tend to get bogged down by the notion of needing to make the best use of this/my time (hmm ... funny, i just drew an oracle card about Time ...)

i really found my life opened up in miraculous ways after Unravelling ... a course i just completed which you might enjoy is the Radiant Goddess course at goddessguidebook.com. I reconnected with my morning meditation/reiki practice, easily (yes, really!) integrated healthier eating habits and playful movement habits into my life. it is a very positive, supportive, creative course. not sure when it will be offered again, but it was worth every penny.

Thanks for your kind words and thoughts. I feel guilty even saying how awful I feel, and I know you know why, but that just adds to it! How selfish is that? :( Gosh, sorry!

Your wish for yourself is my wish for you as well.

Taking care of ourselves is very unselfish and something that is a necessity in order to give the world our best. Life is too special not to give to ourselves because if you don't then there is nothing left to share with others.

I have been on the not taking care of myself side and know how easy it is to get burned out. I am glad you are promising yourself such a wonderful gift. You have my vote of confidence!
