Wishcast Wednesday..What do you wish to invite in?

Jamie is in her lovely new studio site for this weeks Wishcast Wednesday. If you have not gone to visit here there you really must!! Her question today is..What do you wish to invite in? Hmmmm..I have been contemplating this very thing for weeks now..I would like to openly invite in a new chapter in my life.

I have been planning since this Spring to change my preschool program starting this Fall. I have decided to open up my mornings to artwork and take kiddos only in the afternoons. With the exception of two who are only with me two days a week. This will give me three full mornings to focus on artwork..alone in the house - wowowowow!! I'm excited..ok that is an understatement.

But..something interesting has been brewing the last month. I am being prodded and poked - nicely but still...to consider going back to school to finish my BA and perhaps continue on with a Masters. It would seem there is a new blended BA that would suit my interests perfectly. It is three pronged..Early Childhood Education, Psychology & Special Education. This would allow me to do something I not only love but seem to have a gift for - become a developmental specialist. This would allow me to work with kids with developmental issues, identify and then search out treatment for them. The U of I seems to think I am a prime candidate for this given my educational background and experience. There was even some talk of the possibility of teaching at the college level once I am done.....me a college professor - hmmmmmm..I would love that.

So...I would like to invite in these two possibilities. Let them make themselves at home, have a cup of coffee and see how they manifest in my life. That I will be open to what they have to say, without fear or stress..just let them flow over me and see where they lead me.
That is my wish today..what is yours?? Namaste, Sarah

Ohhh- I like this wish.
What a great goal. You should SO WORK TOWARDS YOUR MASTERS DEGREE.

I think it's a perfect wish.
And yes, reserving mornings for your own creativity sounds like a plan. Think of what you'll be able to accomplish with every morning to yourself, to just create.

Sarah~

For whatever reason, I'm sitting here crying by what you wrote. A new chapter...and it seems so perfectly written for you.

Do it. I don't think my tears can lie. So if it feels this profound to me, and it's not even my dream, it must be so right for you.

As my Dear Sarah wishes for herself, so I lovingly and with all intention wish for her also.

I don't know you in person but I know I love you.

Sounds like we have a lovely mantra for you.

Give yourself plenty of time. Think hard about it. Come to a conclusion, then think about it again. Do this 4 times. Then you will have the right answer.

I wish for you your wish, Sarah!
How lucky children or college students would be to have you for a teacher and guide through a time in their life. You would impart so much to them as you have to us in your blog. I'm wishing for you!!

Sarah, that is the PERFECT wish for you! I think that you need to pursue it - you would be so amazing as a developmental specialist AND as a college professor! Oh Sarah, I do want this wish to come about for you!

Back to serendipity - I had been trying to think of the name of a song from O Brother Where Art Thou. I opened your post, and guess what was playing! That's right, my friend, the very song I was wondering about!

Love to you!

Going back to finish your BA and continue for a Masters in these areas would be a blessing for others as well as you. I know how much amazing people like you are needed in the areas of ECE, Psychology and Special Education.

Please let us know what you decide!
