OMG ..it's Thursday??????

So...really..seriously..it is Thursday??? It has been one of those weeks. The kind that everything goes doodelywonkers and you just can't seem to figure out why or catch up. I have had a herd here all week...happy, laughing, very loud kiddos! Which is good...and messy and busy and necessary to chase. They have Spring fever and are in need of running and screaming and asking the same question over and over again..or singing the same song 50 times in a row.

Now generally this does not phase me..I am pretty calm amid kiddo chaos..but this week..well..maybe not so much. My plate is overflowing, I had a long interview with the State daycare folks (good thing), I had a huge migraine all one day...and ...

I broke my toe. Yeah ...broke my toe. I wanted to blame that kiddo up there with the silly mug...not her fault.
Of course this one was the next on the list.. sweet loving pooch is always underfoot..but no not her fault either.

I tripped over my own pair of boots. After telling my kids at least 100 times to put their shoes away when they kick them off so no one will trip on them...I did not..and broke my toe on my own big boots. Sigh.
What did this smart boy say.."Mom..it's Karma, you should have picked up your boots!". Smart ass..LOL. But very true!!

It is now a nasty mix of yellow and green and purple..won't show you ..ick!

So when I got everything cleaned, interviewed, fed, cleaned, washed, ordered, drawn, edited, updated, erased, fixed, cleaned ...I went out and looked at the sky! A brilliant shade of blue. So even though it was one of those weeks..now that I am awake and back...it is a beautiful day.

I hope you are having a non broken toe, non computer failure, organized, calm, blue sky filled week! Hugs all, Sarah

Hope its better really soon, although you can keep those shoes put away for awhile now as I bet they won't feel to comfy on that toe, sorry, I'm with Fox a bit of a smart ass, lol.

I know what you mean. But this is a constant state of affairs in my life at the moment. So, can't attribute it to any boots, or computers or anything so simple. Karma? Perhaps. :p) Have a great day, hon!

Life is chaos. Especially with kids. Happy chaos! :) I love your kids, they are adorable! Okay, wait, I am supposed to tell you this first: I am so sorry you broke your toe. That must hurt like the dickens. Take care of yourself. The weekend is coming, and maybe you can squeeze in a couple of hours for you. xoxo Pam

Oh, ouch! I'll bet that hurts! I have never had a broken bone, hope I never do either. Doesn't that just figure, the kids reminding YOU that you didn't pick up YOUR shoes!
hope that toe gets better soon
hugs....

I had a "oh my god, it's Thursday" kind of week, too. Didn't break my toe, though--hope it heals soon!

Oh, I've been there too. I broke my little toe once by stubbing it against a briefcase waiting by the door. It hurt so bad I couldn't make a sound come out of my mouth -- not even to swear -- so you know that's BAD pain! I feel for you, Sarah!

Ouch! The karma may hurt worse than the toe. Blue skies ahead!

'T would be nice if I were, but-- though no broken toe [sorry, Lady! PUT YER BOOTS UP NEXT ROUND!!! HAR!!!], it has been one of those "i ain't doin' a thing, seems, but canna get it done" kinda progressions...

Slainte, Lady Sarah. Hope the toe soon fades to reds then yellows then...

Why, NO, I don't know why experience wantsa talk now...

If I lived where you do I would come and help you because some days you must be exhausted, and now with a broken toe, I would have you sit with your foot up, I would bring you tea and even bring you a bowl of soup or whatever, as for watching the kids, I will have to think about that one....take care of yourself, I hope it does not give you too much trouble. Big hugs.

Sorry to hear about your broken toe! At least all the little kidlings were singing and happy. We have had some sun here for three days now! My hubby has been riding his bike on the bike trails and the critters are running all over playing tag.

I am so sorry to hear of your week Sarah. Mine has been about the same, it's Friday and so far behind. No broken bones here, very thankful for that. LOL The pictures are so cool. Wishing you a weekend of catch up.

No dancing among the springtime ephemerals for you, young lady! No weight on it, no shoes, only thick, thick socks. Add lots of visualization and positive energy. I'm sending you some extra!!

Your photos are a delight! The kids are growing up SO quickly!! And I'm glad to see that you are playing with your camera. This will be a challenge, since you can't get out and about as easily. Take photos from sitting in your chair or on the sofa. You will begin to see things differently.

I was right. It is time for Sarah to receive some TLC!!

Hugs!

Yikes girl! A broken toe?!?!? That is not fun.

Knowing you, I'm guessing you didn't put on your Queen Crown and declare it "Mommy's Injured Week" so you could take it easy and rest that sore toe, Yeah, I didn't think so :-)

Take some time with weekend, okay, and put your feet up and rest!

Hang in there.

Bummer about your toe! But I'm glad you can still see the silver lining. Is the border collie Lucy?
