Decompressing.......

So day two of vacation and I am happy to say all are on the mend and I am trying to decompress. Trying to get my shoulders to detach from my ears! See here is the thing ...I want to feel relaxed...and that is stressing me out! Seriously..how silly is that? So..I will be working today(see still in working mode) on just doing whatever.

But to just wander through the day as I please is so unfamiliar to me of late..I need a little practice.

I may watch this again..I confess..I love these movies. I may even get the books to read! Whoot!

While I am taking my sweet time walking through the library..all by myself..alone.. sans children..in the quiet..did I say alone? I think I will look for this book!

I hope you all have a peacefully decompressed weekend! Hugs and Namaste, Sarah

Vacation and decompressing...sounds perfect. I think my ears might go into shock if I can manage to detach my shoulders from them! I'm going to check out the walking meditation book.

The decompressing and relaxing will just happen, suddenly you will there without realizing it. The book sounds interesting - I think I may also look it up. Enjoy!

Vacation and well deserved! You can relax, make no mental to do list and write nothing down. You know at our age if we don't write it down, it doesn't get done. LOL Enjoy you time, it will be very short.

Hi Sarah! I am trying to decompress, too. Why is it so hard? Even though I tell myself to take a few days off, I am mentally going down my do-list. :) I hope you get some true 'wiggle your toes in the sand' moments filled with gentle breezes and sunshine and your lovely family! xo Pam

Hubby and I just watched Johnny Depp in the movie about John Dillinger and we ate potato chips which are a treat these days. I hope you relax and mend and catch this hug!

I've enjoyed catching up with your news this week. Sorry that you've been poorly, but hope you can find some piece soon.

I have neglected my meditations a lot lately, but just to find some peace and a little time for myself, I get up a half hour earlier than needed. Every morning I sit with my pot of tea and drink it quietly, savouring every drop. Meditation in a pot :)

Take care hun :)

Sarah,
Finally found a moment to check out your blogs - What a talent!!! I turned 40 last year and am just coming into my own too, so I can really relate. Here's to finding out that we really are smart, funny, creative, incredible women after all!

Love your artwork too! You are so talented. If you are like me, you are asking yourself "Where and why was I hiding all of this?" So glad to have found your blog! I'm looking forward to following.

Smiles!

If you love the movie Twilight, you so so so need to get the books! I just sort of liked the movie, but then I read the books and oh baby! Yeah :)
