Given my last several posts have been veryyyyyy looong and wordy..I thought some pictures were in order. Last weekend Jim was in Glacier on a field trip for U of I, the kids and I went up to Beaver Bay to play and hike. We used to live up this way & I adore the area. Do ya see the sail boats?
Of course the water is irresistible, even when it's too cold so swim...
Well for children anyway! Isn't he fun!!!
We went tootling and saw this handsome fellow - do you see Nonni waving at him!

Well..ya knew there would not be a photo shoot without a couple of macros..LOL!! How cool is this fungus!!!
Or a bug macro?? Fox gently caught this amazing Mantis and we took a quick shot and let him go! They do amaze me - look at his face!! Wow!!
When did this boy start to look like a man??? They grow up just too fast. I'm not sure that boy/man is ever without a stick in hand!!
Yup end of our day heading off home. I do love forest light. None of us really wanted to go home!
