Spring in Macro...

I seriously didn't think spring would ever sproing here! We had snow several times last week! But as soon as it warmed up just a little bit....bang..here it is! My lemon balm is happy!!

The tulips are popping. I hate it when Blogger turns my photos around..arggggg!

There is just something I find beautiful about macro shots of from above as flowers begin to unfurl..all those twists and curls..beautiful!!

So do ya think you know what this strange looking bloom is?

I love hens and chicks..my favorite succulent! I love this color!

Wowza look at this one!!!

I think I love this bush because it is like Fall all spring and summer long! LOVE IT!

I kinda liked this shot too..the leaf is all twisted around the bloom of the tulip. I will go back tomorrow and see what it has turned into..interesting!

Just a quick end note. I wanted to thank you all for your hugs and thoughts about Tink. Sadly..she has not returned and I fear she will not. All your hugs helped so much..thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Hugs, Sarah

In the macro, you can see so clearly how the plant world looks very feminine...especially that last shot, with the leaf curled around the tulip. Reminds me of a baby enutero...

I've been sending Reiki to you all and Tink and I'm very sad to hear that you think she'll most likely not make it home. I'll still hold hope and it's just a shame that she is not with you. Animals who simply leave our lives leave such large holes in our hearts.

Also, I sent you an email sometime back about the etsy post, but I haven't heard from you. Just wanted to let you know I've been trying to send you money! How good is that?!

I love you very much.

There isn't a day that goes by, that you aren't in my thoughts, and now since Tink has been gone, she also has filled my heart. While one part of us tries to be brave and face what we think is the inevitable, another part of us never completely gives up hope. .one part keeps us going and functioning, the other, our ever on-going love. Tink can feel that from you, no matter where she is.

Your photos are gorgeous as always, Sarah! You haven't lost that inborn touch! And your plants themselves are works of art too. .each so beautiful in their own way. Mother Nature has talents that we mere mortals can only dream about.

Do you know what kind of bush that is, that is such a gorgeous yellow, orange and red? It sort of looks like my Ninebark, but the colors are a little more diverse. .I LOVE it!

HUGE Hugs!!

gorgeous new growth shots Sarah. Spring is very slow here. I think it will be cooler and rainy this year. but that will make everything grow! I had hens and chicks at my old place, will have to plant some here. I miss them!

I'm sorry to hear Tink has not returned, such a loss take time to recover from, but when you do a new kitten could help ease the loss even more.
Lovely photos. As a wanabe photographer I must ask what camera and lens you used to take these great photos.
