Did I Mention I Love Where I Live???

I think I have now and again. But...oh to have a car this year and go out into the woods and play....be still my heart..I am in heaven. It was a really rough couple of days...and after monster stress...we headed to the hills for a bit of natural respite.

Did I say I loved it here? We headed about 20 minutes from our little cottage...to this deliciously wooded area...with no one in sight..just us walking and laughing and checking out the bugs and bitsy things.

I will say that I came home feeling 100lbs lighter and relaxed again..my shoulders have detached from my ears...sigh! Delicious! Look at these little flowers...don't they look like bitsy pumpkins?

Happy Tuesday all!! Namaste, Sarah

I see you have discovered my secret. I can deal with anything, as long as I have this to come home too. Glad you are happy too. Yes they do look just like little pumpkins.

I know just how that makes you feel. I love to escape for a few hours, even if it's just to my local lake.
Nature can make us feel so at ease and relaxed.

Sarah - you are so right. We all need to stop and get in the car and drive out to a wild place. :) I'm lucky to love where I live, too. Happy summer adventures to you! xoxo! Pam

Very serene and beautiful!! Your pictures are great! I bet it's also not 100 degrees with a 1000 percent humidity there either!! (that's what it is here!!!)

I know exactly the feeling of shedding stress. When we were overwhelmed with parental elder-care, we would head out to our wee tiny cabin for the day and as we got closer you could just feel the weight lifting off of us. Sigh. I am so pleased your vacation was wonderful.

That looks a great place to be. It sounds delicious as it looks delicious.

Yes, we do need somewhere to unwind that nagging stress of life. And yours is one Ideal Place inasmuch as it is Idyllic.

You are blessed.
