Seeking Input!!

I have a couple of ACEO's (2 1/2" x 3 1/2" miniatures)that I need input on listing. Everyone who looks at these sees something different. I'm curious... what do you see? I find them soothing to look at. When I doodle - this is what it frequently turns into. I added color this time. So... please tell me what they look like to you and what you think I should name them. I am ever so grateful!!!

They are really pretty, don't know what to call them :-)

I left you a blog award at my blog if you want to come pick it up. :-)

Sarah, these are really cool! They look like those extreme closeups where you don't know what it is & then they show you & it's like you would have never guessed it. Ya know? Sorry if I sound rambling...it's one of those foggy days. The red one reminds me of zinnias, rose petals, & pomegranates...it looks really juicy! The green one reminds me of clams or mussels...or cells of a plant like lettuce, artichokes, broccoli, or a leaf of some kind...very fresh & crisp.

Sarah, I see organic nature represented. Both remind me of shellfish, with the green one inviting me to reach into the tidepool and touch that little patch of sand.
Funny what we doodle... I almost always draw eyes and facial expressions - they rarely get bodies. LOL!

These are pretty cool. To me the red one looks like blood cells and the green one looks like mussels...

Beautiful! 'they remind me of "Turkey Tail" mushrooms, that grow in clusters on logs. ~Doesn't make for a very pretty name though!

Wow thanks guys - that was so much help!!! Interesting what everyone sees! My daughter (5)said they looked like lots of bows on top of each other!

Thanks hon, I was on last night trying to send this but everytime I turned around Tiny was coughing and feeling awful.

Ok where to start...this sounds silly but this is how I feel. They both are very nature based, but in an ethereal way. they both remind me of toadstools. You know the ones with no stems and heads? At first glance Raspberry toadstool comes to mind with the red one, the green is so relaxing to look at, kind of mossy and for some reason it takes me back to the early work of J.R. Tolkien. You would probably find it somewhere in one of his paintings. In some strange land of forest and fairy. Maybe there are fairies hiding in those toadstools lol. Ok silly maybe but those are the feelings they invoke in me. They are both beautiful.
hugs,
Heather

The second one definitely seems like a forest with a clear spot right in the middle of it.

The first one, well, I am still thinking. Some kind of sea life.

They are great you talented lady.

Love Renee

Hello Sarah,

Yes I love living in the NW, like you.
Your art is wonderful. I went and came close to purchasing an ATC. I love that you sell originals instead of prints, keep that up and I sense you will be successful. I love this design you do. For me i do not need to relate it to anything but what it is, lovely! I will continue to look in on your art and wait for the one that calls to me!

They remind me of lichen. Very organic and woodsy.
