Wishcast Wednesday...

Our dear Jamie asked us this morning...How do you wish to nourish yourself? Ok it is not good when the second you read this you burst into tears...seriously. Big old message..Sarah you need to consider this..now..this minute.

So here I am...I feel like all I have done was whine each Wednesday....all Summer. Ackkk I hate that..I am not a whiner. There has been one thing after another this season. Every time I think I am on top of it and back on my feet...something or someone else creates issues. I just wanted a calm summer..to relax before my school program began again in the Fall. Here I am at the end of July and I feel as tight and bound up as I did at the end of the school year. Out here in the real world I have come to some painful understandings about folks I have trusted..people I care about have broken trust in huge ways that even my forgiving soul can't ignore. My feelings are bruised and beaten. I have had to regroup my thinking on so many issues. What it comes down to is this..I am hurt and I am sad about what has gone on this summer..but I am dealing with it..I am journaling and finding out how I feel..where my responsibility lies..the lessons here..the good stuff..the treasure. I am trying to move on and figure out where this is leading me and why. Learning what I am suppose to take away from all of this!

What do I need to nourish...my soul..my heart..my confidence...my strength. I need to nourish the joy I feel in small things and time spent with my children. I need to nourish my power...that warrior woman needs some building up. Because I think this year she has been beaten down and pushed in a corner..time for her to come out confident and strong. See I knew I should be here today..cause I feel better already..just knowing where I need to go...I need to reach my hand into that corner and draw out my warrior woman and let her fly!! Thank you Jamie! I so needed this today!!

What do you wish today? Namaste, Sarah

As Sarah wishes for herself, I wish for her also. Nourish that warrior woman!! I've had wishcasting questions like that were it just hits you and you cry and write and cry and write and sometimes we just need to cry and write.

What Sarah wishes I wish for her also.
That said, I understand what you mean when you say issues sometimes just don't go away or morph into something else. It is especially frustrating when it is a result of a decision made by someone else and it lands in our lap. Chin up though-understanding that it is not your problem allows you to let it go. I realize this is easier said than done but is one step closer to the healing process when we can rationalize it.

strength in this to you Sarah.
I have had a few breaches and shocks in the trust department, and the effects are everlasting. I don't wish to become cynical, or bruised and battered,
but to learn, rebuild, become better.

hugs to you.

You are not a whiner. You are a courageous, open woman who is willing to share. You inspire us all:)

As Sarah wishes for herself I also wish for her. I am all for drawing out the warrior woman in all of us.

I doubt you're a whiner. I think we all go through phases where we just need to embrace all our emotions, especially the ones that make us feel weak or like "whiners."

As Sarah wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.

Such wonderful wishes - may you be well nourished!
Losing trust in others is probably the hardest to deal with. Being hurt by others takes a long time to recoup! Please take care of yourself! All those small pleasures can help!
Take care!

Finding our "warrior woman" is something I need to do to. Thanks for your honesty! I wish you much nourishment!

I was just north of you while I was camping! Up at Silverwood. I usually get out once or twice a year with my best friend and her kids. Wonderful area!

Betrayal hurts, no matter what. The same has happened to me this summer, though I suppose I can be thankful that has only been one person/one family that has hurt me so. It's sad for me to experience, and to watch L experience, the selfishness of the very ones who should love us most. It's sad when some people have such a large sense of false entitlement. I'll be seeing her/them for the first time this Saturday, since the proverbial "sh@t hit the fan." I also hope that I can find my inner warrior woman to help keep me confident & secure in myself & what I believe to be right.
Thanks for sharing & I hope you find her too!

Oh Sarah such a beautiful authentic heartfelt post! I feel such a connection with where you are.

I loved what you said about nourishing your power!!!! I'm stealing that phrase and doing that too.

As Sarah wishes for herself I so lovingly wish this for her also. xx

Dearest Sarah, what you wish I also wish for you. Once trust is lost it can be so hurtful, know you are admired out here by many, you are stronger than you know, sometime you just need to find your way back to that strength. A Big Hug, I don't know if you know how much I admire you. So if I were there, a big hug on your porch and we could talk until dawn. I could even just listen...
hugs.

I can relate to the feeling of being as bound up now as I was at the beginning of summer (beginning? do you mean summer has started already?)

i love the image you started this piece with ... and I also love the seal in your previous image, reminding us to be playful, swim around, under and over our difficulties and when necessary, just float in the current.

I hope you had a little pick me up receiving your trinket box :)

As Sarah wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.

I suppose I should have posted the discussion Holly and I had yesterday or just sent the whole thing to ya Hon......but I figured you'd figure out the cycle.....the cycle.....the cycle.....the history of the time of year...Sarah......look back for the clarity hindsight can bring.....back 1.....or 2.....or 4...5....6......seek the highs and lows of the cycle and hunt down the source like a wolf... Stop pushing yourself for what you see as other peoples needs Hon. In the quiet...is the key......not the design.

It is hard to believe that anything mbt sandals so inherently ugly as the MBT shoe could ever catch on MBT with either the younger generation or the fitness fanatics but it has. mbt walking shoes The shoes or I suppose they should be called trainers have thick curved soles and wide straps across the front. Currently shoe for worked the are available in over 20 countries and have sold more than a million pairs a year. Considering that they have a price tag of around $200 it is even mbt sneakers more remarkable.

MBT shoes, which stand for Masai mbt shoes best prices Barefoot Technology were invented by Karl Muller a Swiss engineer. He mbt shoes cheap suffered back and knee problems but on a trip to Korea he noticed mbt discount shoes that after walking barefoot through paddy fields the symptoms were relieved. With further mbt shoes review research he discovered that the Masai tribesmen from Kenya did not suffer back problems shoe for worked and had perfect posture. Putting these two facts together he decided that MBT shoes the answer was because they were walking on soft surfaces mbt walking shoes which yielded as they trod on them. This mbt shoes sale was unlike in Europe and America where we tend to walk on firm surfaces such as sidewalks.

The first MBT was manufactured in 1996 and soon MBT became popular on continental Europe. Since then many celebrities have mbt sandals been seen sporting MBTs. The concept basically is that the buy mbt shoes curved sole creates instability as you walk, which mbt sandals mimics the effect of walking barefoot. To counteract this the foot uses muscle to counter this mbt sandals and creates a natural body training effect.

As to the question of whether they mbt shoes cheap are worth the money I suppose this has to be a personal judgement. If MBT shoes you spend long periods of time on your feet then you may discount mbt shoes benefit from them. However, if you are someone MBT shoes who just goes for gentle walks to keep fit then perhaps a MBT shoes good pair of conventional trainers at mbt shoes review half the price will be fine.
