I've been Tagged

It would seem that I have been tagged - lol ...by Jennifer @ http://gypsymare.blogspot.com/. If you have not been to her blog - she is an amazing painter! She does lots of amazing critters & I am a huge fan of her horses!! So... six things about me I have not shared.

1. I spent a summer teaching program at a NH Girlscout camp. My kids came along and we basically played all summer. We had a nice tent on the lake! I had a dream supply room and a huge budget. My children also had free program. Two hundred girls a week - was really wonderful!

2. I married my bodyguard.

3. We lived in a bus and a little trailer one summer. I had the opportunity to run a horse ranch - loved it. I can now cook almost anything on an open flame.

4. I adore a good butt kicking movie. The "Rome" HBO series and Braveheart are among my favorites. I'm guessing that's because I teach preschoolers all day!!

5. I have been accused of being a granola. Every summer my preschoolers and I tie dye everything that does not move. They love it! Me too. Their parents usually bring me several shirt to do for them too. Last year several of the neighborhood teens joined us too!

6. I love to sing. I've been trained - but do it just for myself now.

So I will tag few blogs that I love....

So pleased to recieve your message, even more pleased your children have you to believe in them.
I had a special teacher called Mrs O'neil, she believed in me in the middle school. Another tutor Mr Brisco thought I was stupid because I had a friend who was struggling in school and placed me in the corner with her to draw most days. This teacher also use to give boxing gloves to boys who fought in the play ground and let them fight it out again. He was suppose to have me in the last year of middle school and Mrs o'neil asked for me in her class and a bet was placed to get me up to average by the end of the year. All I had done was draw for most of his year. I did get upto average and Mrs o'neil believed in me. When I gained a diploma in business studies I went to see Mr Brisco. I said to him "I am Julie Bowden, do you remember me"? He replied yes. I said you thought I was'nt very bright, here is my diploma and here are my grades. I had high grades. I let him look. He moved his lips as he looked. I then gently turned and walked out of that class room with my certificate with my head held high.
Mrs o'neil had left and I couldn't find her to say thank you. I will not forget her.
You will be rememered from each of your student so deerly.

Sarah:

I was about to ask where you got the awesome tie-dye picture on your wall, I guess I have my answer. How fantastic.

I think that your children are probably very lucky to have you for their mother.

Is that bodyguard still guarding you. Hope so.

You are very interesting and I am interested.

Well, that I'm sure is a whole other story (1st bastard).

I was laughing at myself, because in my mind I kept thinking he was a lifeguard. I didn't even know there were real bodyguards that normal people could hire. You are normal right? har har

I am very glad your safe and now I will have to rent that series Rome.

xoxoxo
