I Need a Really Strong Latte..and a WIP

I don't know about you..but the time change is killing me!! I am in need of one of those..like a triple shot!! Maybe it is just being older..but the last couple years springing forward feels more like snailing forward..ackkkkk! Is it just me?! Someone pass the coffee please..or can I pass one to you?? A skinny, triple shot, butter pecan..light on the foam please...mmmmmmmmmmm..ok that's better! Thank you:)

I have been getting a little work done..very little but still. Over the last couple years I have been working on a series that I love..Everyday Witches Shops. It has turned into a little town ...Moon Hollow. They have all been 5"x5" and fit together so they look like little city blocks. I have had so much fun with these.

So..I think it is time to expand on the idea..and my little town. So Moon Hollow is going to get a little bigger...8"x11" and in color..cause I think it would be fun..and well ..I wanna! So..I am starting with a coffee stand. Where would Everyday witches go to get a coffee on the fly..well a gypsy stand of course..The Bohemian Bean! So here is the WIP..all pen and ink and pencil..and not to much detail yet..will be adding a few hidden treats too..cause its fun:) Stay tuned.

Happy Tuesday all, Sarah

Sarah, I feel EXACTLY the same way about the time change! I was just thinking yesterday how it has never bothered me before, but this year I am ridiculously tired. Perhaps it is due to the long, cold winter.

I LOVE that you are expanding your little town. The coffee cart is fantastic - can't wait to see it in color.

Love and hugs to you, lovely friend

Yeah, my butt's dragging about 3 feet behind me too.

I'm really feeling the time change this year too. .I feel like I've lost 24 hours, not 1.

I'm so happy that you are starting your Moon Hollow series again. .I love each and every one of the shops that you have done so far, and delight in discovering all of the little details that you put into each image. Your Bohemian Bean is already looking adorable, and am excited to see where you go with it. (I already see your little trademark owl in the tree!)

that coffee drink is simply gorgeous! I have a friend that drank quad lattes regularly, ha. Your art is wonderfully charming.

I detest the time change! Whoever thought it was a good idea needs to have their head examined.

We have our turn the clock back coming up soon and even that messes me up! Love the coffee cart!

Yeah - I'm with you. It takes me ages to get over the springing forward. We're soon to 'fall back', but the benefits of that are negated by the fact that it means that autumn is really here. Rats!

I have been super tired lately. I'm not sure what it is, but I do know that my coffee intake has gone up A LOT. :)) Love the idea for your new piece! Off to make another cup. xox Pam

I was looking at your Moon Hollow images again, and realized. .you had a broom making shop too, didn't you?

I do hope that the dears didn't have to shutter their doors. That is something that is deemed a necessity, like lattes and black cats!
