Lady Bug Quilting Block..all done...

So here is #2 in this new series of Quilting blocks..it is the same size - 8"x8". So here are some sweet Lady Bugs on geraniums..I do love both of these! I would love some suggestions from you all..I would like to create two or three more in the happy garden set. So what kind of bugs and flowers would you like to see next?? Maybe a dragonfly or caterpillars, or maybe some ants and watermelon? I would love your input!!

Hope you all have a wonderful Monday! Hugs, Sarah

I love how you did the geranium leaves -- so realistic! All the insects you mention would be great -- and if you do a caterpillar, how about an orange and black Fuzzy Bear caterpillar? And what about butterflies? The most beautiful insect of all!

I am loving this series!!! So pretty and whimsical!! Beautiful to look at and lots of smiles, loving them!!

Caterpillars and bleeding hearts (the flowers of coarse) sounds fun and pretty. Have to be careful what you say when your a Halloween freak, lol.

This is like living in the middle of a garden and folding part of the garden over like a flower blanket.

~dargonfly came to mind first before reading a step further but i have never seen one land on a flower...only flies by in the blink of an eye...then a butterfly and i couldn't help think of the little bitty roly poly bugs that are always in my soil...or a slug saturating my foxglove!! i think any little insect you create will be the sweetest addition to this quilt! i too l♥ve your geranium...its what first caught my eye...warm wishes and brightest blessings~

I love this series you've been working on! I would definitely go with dragonflies hovering above a pond (that's where I always see mine) and ants at a picnic of course :)

I'd love to see ants around the border (can't you see them marching through or around the boxes? :). I love all the bugs you listed. Well, and spiders, but that might be a Halloween square. ;) xo

Hi Sarah! Your quilting blocks are so sweet! This one turned out fabulous! I agree with what these lovely ladies above mentioned. I can totally see dragonflies and butterflies in your special series. Ooh... and different birdies too! Crows would be a great Halloween one. The possibilities are endless! Have fun creating sweetie! Have a wonderful week! :)

This is so VERY creative :-) It makes me happy just looking at it.

I have tons of humming birds in my garden (they love the geraniums flowers and tiger lilies too.) Hope that helps.

Can't wait to see what you decide on.
