A Big Announcement and a Giveaway...Whoot!

Of late I have been talking about finding a new home for my Quilting Bee..that is was time for it to grow and change in to something new. Well I Let Fly, and this is where those little bees have landed.. Let Fly E-Courses, a new place for my voice.

I feel a bit odd really. This is like blatant self promotion..which I don't feel comfortable wearing really. But, I have been working on this for several months now..it was something Renee encouraged me to do. I know she is watching and cheering me on. I am happy dancing that I was brave and did what my muse & Renee were so insistently pushing me to do. So without further ado...I am really thrilled to share my new adventure with you all... Let Fly E-Courses.

The very first one up is "Balance for the Creative Soul", This simple straight forward course is designed to help you organize & balance your artistic pursuits with the demands of daily life. .
You will find a full class description here! I have two more in the works for later this Summer and Fall!

So to the Giveaway part...whoot. I am going to offer two spots in the class on me. No fee...just come, join in and enjoy.

So..here are the rules...
1. add a comment here letting me know you would like a chance to win a spot and why you think you would like to take this course! This is the important part!!

2. Go check out my new place to be Let Fly E-Courses and become a follower.

Easy Peasy. I will be choosing the winners on May 9th, 2010 @ 9am Pacific time. I will not take any more entries after that. You will have 24 hours to get back with me or your spot goes to the next in line!! Whoot...I am VERY exited and have had way too much coffee!! Good luck all! Hugs, Sarah

I think this is a great idea!. I work at balance on a day to day basis.Sometimes I am more successful than other times. What a timely e course this could be for me!

I am currently having daily conversations in my head about...how do I do more of what I really want to do...like blogging....I find that unfortunately this analysis may be resulting in...less creative output and more deliberation without resolution!! . What is it that is keeping me in the cycle of putting off creative expression? Interesting!

I am having trouble fitting it all in. I keep telling myself this! Life keeps intervening!I need some new redirection I suspect! I would love to apply for this gift spot....Thank you for making the opportunity to do so!

I'm with you 150% Sarah. As a conscientious healer and certifiably a great human being you needn't concern yourself with words like 'blatant'. You'll enhance anyone's life who choose to accept your wisdom and insights. You are a well grounded, experienced, truthful, humorous, and intuitively on target for the most part. Such an endeavor will but further your relationships to self and among your fellows.

I'm so excited for you!
You have always been so warm and supportive and encouraging with me, from the very beginning of my own blogging. Why wouldn't I want to be involved in this new adventure? ;)

Good luck to you!

I am so glad you are letting yourself fly, I can't wait to see where it takes you.
I would love to take this class because right now I am so overwhelmed with "life" that my art suffers and I would love to learn how to fit it in and give it the time to grow.
Namaste,
Karen

Well Sarah, if you don't tell people about it, they cannot come! Although I completely understand how you feel tooting your own horn!
I am constantly struggling with balance as a mother of a young child, as an artist, as a homemaker, a wife, and with finances...the list could go on and on!
I wish you well in your endeavor! With your experience in hands on teaching and the world evolving online this seems like a natural next step for you!

This course is the answer to the story of my life! My life got in the way for over 25 years and I didn't paint, then started in a year ago, once again. I am working 2 jobs and trying to produce artwork for 2 galleries currently. My 4 kids are grown, but very much a part of my life. I am also battling 3 autoimmune diseases. Add in that I really need a tidy house because I work from home. I need to figure out how to balance the things I have to do with the things I want to do, including being present for people I love.

This is a great idea.

Sarah, this is absolutely wonderful! You put something together here that you should be very proud of! I'm so excited that you are doing this class & your timing couldn't be better. I really need this class for several reasons, which lead to one big reason....working in my studio! I've come to a crossroads....Do I let the CFS win & file for disability? Or do I give it one more shot to realize my dream of working in the studio & create a thriving business which will fulfill me as a person. At this time I choose the later...it ignites in me the feeling of hope, joy, & keeps a bit of the 'old' me alive....the me I was before I got sick. I face many challenges because of the CFS. The two most difficult ones...the ones that create the biggest obstacles for me are the crushing fatigue & the murky brain fog. With only so much energy available to me, it is important that I use it wisely & with the brain fog I become forgetful, distracted & wander. I feel this class will help me get organized & stay focused so that I am able to use my energy more effectively. Other benefits of taking this class are I will be less stressed...stress wreaks havoc on my body & depletes my energy levels...with less stress I will be able to accomplish more & be more inspired to create....ultimately fulfilling my dream & being more of who I really am.

Thank you for creating this class & offering the opportunity to win this giveaway. You're pretty Wonderful ;) *hugs*
