Wishcast Wednesday...

Jamie our fearless leader and wonder woman has asked us today.... What door do you wish to open?

I love Wednesdays and look forward to the chance to stop and contemplate something for more than two minutes at a time. I get up early to do this..no kiddo distractions. I tend to look for themes in my life and on the blogs every week. Things that jump out at me, touch me demand my attention. This week it was all about paying attention to being present and taking care of my own spirit.

I love my yoga. I am deeply fond of warrior pose. It feels powerful to me. I feel very at home in that pose. I am also very fond of a blade...a Japanese katana to be more accurate. Beautifully crafted and balanced for my hands. Why do these things attract me so..I do not really know! I suspect it may be figurative to some extent...my warrior side of me demanding her time. That side of me that is ready to step up. My Warrior Goddess side is ready to be heard..she is banging on the door. She is demanding that I take better care of myself spiritually, emotionally and physically.

So...as I cut back on my teaching and start more seriously with my artwork this fall..I wish to open the door to my Warrior Goddess. That I may relish in my glories and slice through my problems. That I may be present in my life and feel that warrior strength once more. That I may be present in my life and more aware of my own needs. That is my wish today!!
Namaste, Sarah

Sarah! I have your back as you have mine. Two warrior spirits who have damped down that aspect for too long. Time for us to return to the truth of us.

As Sarah wishes for herself, so I lovingly and with intention wish for her also.

Here is to the warrior's cry! I live until I decide to die!

Such a beautiful wish must come true for you! The powers of positive thinking will make it happen for you! Also, of course your spiritual side has heard those words and it will help this wish come true as well. You have allowed the universe to hear your words, so it will be.

As Sarah wishes for herself, I so wish for her as well.

p/s You know, the geisha warrior fairy has become my Muse and her name speaks for her--warrior.
After the facebook discussion on tattoos the other day, I've been having visits in my dreams from her--I think you and I may need to talk about how you would finish out the rest of her body...
all my tattoos are spiritual in nature-this one is no exception-
:-)
what a better reminder than to see something like this every single day to say be strong-keep moving-you can fight and expect to win...
thank you for that my friend...

P/S - I may need to ask you about uhm adding to the warrior geisha fairy- ever since that tattoo conversation on facebook--she keeps visiting me in my dreams- she has the perfect place picked out-opposite another muse-
all my tattoos are spiritually inclined and there seems to be no better reference and reminder to me to keep me powerful than the ceremony involved in getting a tattoo-not to mention- I am more than willing to tell everyone who drew it out for me :-)

As Sarah so righteously wishes for herself, so too do I wish for Sarah. May your blade be always sharp and straight!

Sarah: Sounds like more than a wish to me - sounds like you have opened the door and have stepped over the threshold. You articulate your wants and needs so beautifully. It's a wonderful thing to know what you want and where you're going.

Love the wish, Sarah. Opening doors does frequently mean change, which can be both scary and empowering.

As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also.
