Interloper...bounder.....

Tink....the above pictured kit..Maine Coon to be exact... was the first critter welcomed into our home during the first year we were here. She was a stray, thin, young and very happy to have a warm cozy home. She was content to be the "one". Then.....

this one arrived! Sweet Lucy Lu. After several homes where she just did not fit..she found a house full of daycare children and a busy noisy family (yeah we really are) was the prefect place for her. The above pictured cat....not so happy. Lucy would adore a furry friend..but Tink is generally not interested.

Then.....yesterday this one came to visit..only for a bit..but still...Tink's expression was priceless. This is Bookey..pronounced Boo-key..my daughter's bunny.

Can't you just hear Tink...
"OMG what is this..another one...bounder, interloper!! What is it anyway..not a dog..certainly not a cat..what next a zebra!! Maybe if I stare at it in an intimidating way it will go away."
Hmmmm... not so much. As Bookey gave a good leg stamp and a nice warning that she would not be messed with by some....some ...what is that anyway..certainly not a rabbit..or a dog? What's next a monkey??

Happy Wednesday all...hugs, Sarah

Sounds like you're setting up a menagerie at your place!

Territorial but still inquisitive.
That is what I like about cats.

Oh that cattitude...so much they must endure, sigh.
