Wishcast Wednesday.....



Our Shepherdess Jamie has asked us today..What do you wish to say yes to? Well there she goes again tapping into the deeper parts of us!! I love that. Wishcasting every week keeps me thinking about where my heart and soul really are. If I am centered and balanced or off kilter. It gives me a chance to actively tune into my inner self and regroup. Like a really good yoga position..sometimes there is discomfort but in the end it feels heavenly.


What do I wish to say Yes to? My muse has been pushing me hard of late..to create what my heart wishes to create..not what my head demands to be created. You see my muse knows what passion lies behind a hearts desire..the fire that burns and what happens when you Let Fly with it. To let go of my logical mind that tells me to create what is hot on the market and let my heart do the steering. My heart shows in my work when I let it drive my art. To let go of my fear that constrains me and keeps me creating economically rather than passionately. Those of you who know me and my artwork can tell when the art is inspired by the heart and when it is just work. I want all of my art and photography to be from the passion and the heart. I wish to say yes to my Muse and create from the heart. What do you wish to say yes to today? Namaste, Sarah

    Such a wise wish, Sarah. Like you, my muse won't let me fake it anymore, either. You'd do well to listen to your Muse because she truly has your best interests at heart and well, in the end, she is the boss!

    When I look at your photos, especially these latest ones, and I see your art...if I didn't love you so much I'd be pea green with envy and stomping my foot about you.

    Instead, I want to hug you all the time and know that when you stand in the light, things come right.

    Aid is there when we ask...Asking is not a sign of weakness, it's a sign of wisdom.

    I wish to say yes to just letting go and letting my inner child come out more. Especially when I am playing with my kids. I want to be the mom that runs around the playground with my kids rather than just sits there and watches.

    I think we should listen to our Muse - after all, she is not constrained by the bonds of society, she has no inner critic, she is our free spirit, our calling.

    Sarah, it is difficult to do, when you have so many worries on your mind, but your wish, with everyone's support will help you get past that barrier.

    When you can create from the heart, like you said, it is relfected in your work, which shines out to all who see it. Then the money will come.

    Ohhhh Sarah, the mind tends to creep in on us when things are tougher than usual, but creating from the heart is self rewarding and you may be surprised that buyers are looking for exactly what you've been keeping within.

    I know that feeling about my art. When I'm really present and centered with it, the piece turns out awesome. I'm walking away from a rocking chair that I'm supposed to paint for my niece. It just totally uninspires me. As you wish for yourself, I wish for you too!
