Our Lovely Jamie has asked today.."What do you want to make room for?" Well I could go a couple ways with this..so...hmmmm... Given I can't start school till Spring semester or next Fall..I will go in another direction here. I want to make room for myself!!
My oldest child Julia turned 28 this summer and my youngest Nonni is 5. Nonni is off to Kindergarten in September and for the very first time in 28 years I will not have a child at home with me. I have mixed emotions about this one. I have never been the kind of Mom who does happy dances at the end of summer - I enjoy my kids company!! It is going to be very odd for me to be alone at home!! I am having a hard time thinking about Nonni going off to school!! I know I will cry!!
I have purposely chosen to not take preschoolers three mornings a week this Fall - new for me too!! I want to take those mornings to find myself and let the artwork fly. To make room for a bit of walking and photo taking. I want to make room to find myself again. To take that couple of hours on those days and not be all of the labels of me and just rediscover..Sarah. So that is my wish today..I wish to make room for myself.
